All About Our Novice Only Festivals
At our “NOVICE ONLY” events we accept solos, duets and trios in the following genres:
- BALLET
- TAP
- MODERN
- LYRICAL
- ACRO
- VOCAL
- SONG AND DANCE
- IMPROVISATION
- CHARACTER
Solos are £7, Duets are £8pp and Trios are £8pp
These events are strictly for new routines or routines that haven’t placed 1st.
All About Our Open Only Festivals
At our “OPEN ONLY” events we accept solos, deuts, and trios in the following genres:
BALLET
- TAP
- MODERN
- LYRICAL
- ACRO
- VOCAL
- SONG AND DANCE
- IMPROVISATION
- CHARACTER
Solos are £7, Duets are £8pp and Trios are £8pp
We also accept Groups in all genres above.
These events are strictly for routines which have already placed in a festival prior and are now in the open section!
No more than 12 dancers in a round
We keep all sections at our Novice Only & Open Only competitions small with no more than 12 competing in a round, we place to third and also have special awards available at the end of the day also for the Baby Royals Dancer, Junior Royals Dancer, Inter Royals Dancer, Senior Royals Dancer, Highest Mark, Outstanding Performance Award and Rising Star.

The Venue
We run all of our Festivals at Fulwood Academy, in Preston.
Certificates of Achievement
At all of our events and festivals each child gets a certificate of achievement.
For our festivals, we have the Rosette Award Scheme.

Food and Drink
We do have hot and cold food and drink on offer at our Festivals. We sell lots of tasty snacks as well as sandwiches, pot noodles, cup of soups and toasties!
Merchandise
We have our very own branded Merchandise on sale on the day. Gorgeously coloured hoodies, Royals Bows, Crop tops & t shirts will all be available to purchase on the day!
